  Delicious, generous portions and food choices to please everyone. The waitress was very polite and friendly. Will definitely be there again.

  I've been to the Bean Bar many times and usually have a good experience. The last time I went with my husband, we ordered a couple pieces of cake and a drink and it wasn't until after we ate that they told us their credit/debit machine was down. We were then told to use the ATM machine that they conviently have in the restaurant. When we told them we did not have cash in our accounts at the time and were planning on paying with credit, they told us we should drive home to get the money or maybe borrow from someone. The manager came to talk to us and said "sorry guys, I need it paid for". Thank goodness my brother-in-law could email us money. Although we should carry​ cash on us... We hadn't this time and they should have waved at least one piece of cake or SOMETHING since they didn't tell us until after that the machine was broken and we were inconvenienced by having to have family send us money for a $15 bill... Overall we are not impressed with the service... This place makes a killing, and they couldn't wave our bill this one time... Although their cake is delicious, we will not be going there again because of how we were treated.

  Great place to eat in Westdale. The servers were really nice and very helpful. The food was good too. We ordered the nachos and a steak salad as well as baked Brie and all of it was very tasty. The one thing we didn't live was the portobello burger. It didn't have very much flavour.
