  Been here a couple times since moving to the nearby area, and this has become a regular spot. It is located in downtown Dundas, parking is metered on the street, or around the back of the building. The parking is free in the municipal lot in the back after 6pm on weekdays, and free on the weekends I believe, Saturday and Sunday. The restaurant is nice inside, looks like a small restaurant bar, somewhat modern. The service has always been very kind and courteous, modestly quick, not always super fast, but never slow in my experience. The food is fantastic, large portions, and quite tasty. The calamari was a good app, and the Mac and cheese was a great dish, often too large to eat in one sitting, so the other half of the bowl is taken home. The Mac and cheese is one of their most popular dishes I believe, and it is very cheesy and filling. The prices are okay, but once you realize how much you get, it is pretty fair, especially if you have another full meal after you take the leftovers home. The bar seems to be pretty rich in history, dating back to the mid 1800's, interesting to read up about. But overall this is a classic place, and I believe quite a popular place too. The patio will also open once it gets a bit warmer or nicer outside, and it's a massive patio, much larger than the indoor seating area. So I would recommend Collins, it has great food, better than you would expect based on other bars, pubs or restaurants. Definitely check it out, try the mac and cheese, it is well worth it.

  It's a great place to hang out with friends and have a beer. The wait staff are good, and you can sit at the bar or at a table.
