  HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Ripped pants, lipstick on glasses and unreasonably long waits!!! My boyfriend and I ate here for dinner after coming home from the airport from vacation. It was early for dinner so the restaurant was almost empty. We were seated on the bar side in a booth. The waitress seemed to be serving us and 2 other tables but despite her almost empty section our service took FOREVER. She waited 10 minutes to even come say Hi and take our drink orders. When we finally received our waters another 10 minutes later my glass had LIPSTICK marks on it - EW! More waiting and finally about 20 minutes later we had our bread and my new water. While waiting I got up to use the washroom only to feel a CUT ON MY LEG….I looked down and saw that there was an old NAIL STICKING OUT FROM THE BOOTH that CUT MY PANTS and my leg. I was outraged at this point and when the waitress FINALLY come back over I explained what happened very politely. She was somewhat apologetic and offered to tell the manager. By the time we were done our entire meal the manager had still not come over so I inquired with our waitress. She said "Oh, yea..well the manager said you can have $10 off if you want?.." WHAT - so the manager doesn't even the decency to come over and apologize herself and offer us something more than $10 off when I now have to buy new pants. Besides the fact that I was horribly inconvenient this is just DANGEROUS. If a child had been sitting where I was they could have seriously cut themselves. I really doubt they even fixed the nail as no one seemed to care at all. HORRENDOUS SERVICE AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND ADVISE YOU TO STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!

  Georgie, our server was fantastic. Food was just as good. Really quiet inside and lots of TV'S to watch sports.

  I don't normally give reviews of restaurants or anything of the like. But I have been prompted to do so and so I will. I had never been to East Side Mario's and so my husband decided to take our two young daughter's and I for Valentines day. First impressions are lasting and I have a very unpalatable impression that I am not soon to forget. From filthy dishware with grease and left over food particles to filthy stemware....I had a very difficult time ordering let alone eating. The floors were obviously dirty, as was the table and under the nails of our waiter. I'm sorry but greasy, long untamed hair and dirty nails is NOT what I want in my waiter. He is bringing me and my family our food....this was extremely uncomfortable to accept. The food itself was ok, nothing noteworthy and certainly forgettable. I will not ever return and if it wasn't for my husband bless his heart, and his Valentine's Day choice.....I would have walked out. Truth.

  This usually is always my favourite east sides to go to, but lately I can't say the same...the last couple times we have been to this location it has been such horrible service, don't get checked up on by our waitress, and tonight has to wait over 20 minutes for a check up...AND my boyfriend wasn't even enjoying his meal so having to sit there with it in front of us was not too pleasing...he got chicken parm and it was horrible pasta wasn't even cooked,no sauce and the chicken was way over cooked. The manager handled our situation very well and I was very pleased her and feel bad she works with such idiots.

  $10 Mario Trio: all you can eat soup, salad, and bread. A great way to fill up on a cold Sunday afternoon. If you get a good server, they're on top of you and just keep bringing out the food!
