  I was afraid of coming to this east side marios after a very bad experience at the one on upper james in hamilton, but i was pleasantly surprised. Place was very clean, it *smelled* clean. We had the basa fillet with veggies and the baked penne. Penne could use a bit more sauce and salt, but it was overall pretty good. Really good service.

  My boyfriend and I decided to make the 30 min drive to ESM last night (June 20th) for our 5- year anniversary. We called ahead to make sure that we would be able to sit, as the Queenston Rd location is always fairly busy. The girl on the phone was extremely polite and told us it would be no issues at all. When we arrived we were greeted and sat instantly. We sat in a booth by the bar, and our server Steve was polite, funny and very quick. We received drinks and bread almost instantly. Steve was extremely busy at the bar, but would always make sure to look over to see if we needed anything. He took our order and the food was brought out fairly quickly and was absolutely delicious. Steve was an absolute riot, making jokes and showing off his bartending skills. I thought it was important to mention him, as often times good service goes unnoticed. Thank you ESM Queenston Rd for making our anniversary dinner a fun one! And a special thank you to Steve for making us smile laugh the entire time. You are awesome. :)

  Food is ok. Not much of a good selection like other restaurants with similar atmospheres. Service was good. Good thing is the unlimited bread and salad.
