  Decent selection of kitchen items but was surprised to find they didnt sell some baking tools that I feel are rather common. Had to return a blender that broke within first week. I dont really shop here anymore. Some items are cheaper than other stores but I have bought a few things that were terrible quality like containers, an ice cube tray and some dishes. I even bought cheesecloth that ripped far too easily to even use it. Staff is always nice and helpful.

  I visited the Eastgate mall Kitchen Stuff Plus on November 29th 2016 around 2pmish for the first time, and got the shock of my life. I called the attention of a larger sized whit'ish lady that was right in front of me(I had a quick question) she stopped for a second, looked at me, saw I was colourful and asked me to follow her and ask whatever, then she scurried away like a warfront soldier to her valued customer, I guess out of shock and curiosity, just as a magnet, I took strides like a toddler trying to catch up with mama to ask a really simple technical question which only a staff would've had the swiftest answer to, she had the red'ish store uniform on, when I was done being hypnotized, I returned to my original position, and found a humble graceful looking lady,(of course she didn't have the red'ish outfit) so I didn't fear being engaged in another workout session,(yes I asked my soldier friend same question, but In my hypnotic state, don't blame me for not retaining her response) so new friend gave me more than enough info, I could've passed a PhD candidacy exam on the kitchen stuff plus store just listening to her professional responses(I could give her a 5star, though she deserves more)... I'm really not upset as u can tell, but dread being treated like a modern day slave...oh well, I would've given a one star overall, but the second star is in honor of the one pound I lost running after my 'soldieress' friend. I will recommend the store though, they are very organized, and more helpful people than my 'soldieress' friend. Cheers!

  Service has been in decline last few times I shopped here. But not of a lack of sales staff though. At any given time you will see staff walking around taking care of everything but customers. Last time I was there I had to hunt down someone to get some help and I see them talking with each other ignoring customers. Tonight I went in for a digital thermometer. I was in line with 6 other people. One cashier. Two staff were walking in and out from behind the registers without a thought of assisting in the line up. Better management is needed.
