A very nice place to visit, especially during lilacs festival. If you will go there, take a stroll along the lake, the view is amazing there.

The North Shore trails are a nice "hidden" gem worth checking out, especially the marsh walk. Overall the trails are very accessible, well marked, great access to wild life and lead to the Arboretum.

Beautiful little trail. Will make you forget you're in busy Hamilton. Quiet and scenic

It can feel like Southern Ontario is lacking in scenery and hiking trails. We need to come back here more often, as the trails are gorgeous, with waterfalls, rock outcroppings and views. We drive south to get here and find Carolinian plants and animals that are rare elsewhere. It's worth a trip if you're north even 100km.
